This is kinda tangential, but, I remember watching the Rolling Stones on TV in '74 and they looked old to me then. And I stopped buying their shit after "Goat's Head Soup". After Brian Jones died and they stopped doing R&B covers they just steadily went down hill.
Ugh, i can't stomach the RS in any incarnation, just the bad boy hype thrown against the Beatles, who were truly working class derelicts from a nowhere port town, while the RS where college boys from the capitol?! UGH!
